Ode to an Umbrella

The Ruthless Farmers,

deprivers of the food,

stalk up and down

on their elongated wings

stabbing and flapping

the sides shoot out,

repelling the cloaked peasants,

with their circular shields.

Banished from the inside

exiled from the warmth.

It is forced to endure

the very hardships

it helped its master prevent.

Its brutal beak

shoots out from the

centre, first joined

then abandoned

by the arrogant beating wings.
